Miss Nepal 2007, Sitashma Chand, was born on October 31, 1983 in Kathmandu, Nepal. She had represented Nepal in the Miss World 2007, which was held on December 1, 2007. The brown eyed beauty is 1.71 m (5 ft 7+1⁄2 in) tall. She was also the brand ambassador for Wild Life Nepal & Sony Cybershot Smile Nepal.
Sitashma did her schooling in St. Mary School in Kathmandu where she used to be the captain of her college’s girls basketball team. She later joined Rato Bangla women’s club. It was under her captainship that the team won two national championships in the year 2004 and 2005. She knows several languages, including her mother tongue Chandi, Nepali, English, Hindi and French.
