Astha Shrestha – Republica Miss Teen 2011

In the 10th Republica Miss Teen Nepal organized in Nepal Academy Hall, Kamaladi by Kathmandu Jaycees, 19-year-old Astha Shrestha was crowned the Miss Teen Nepal 2011 title. One of the 17 participants in the contest, Astha also won Miss Personality title.

The food technology student’s following answer to the judge’s question about her message to Nepali citizen won her the title:

We need to rise and fight and make Nepal a symbol of peace and prosperity.

In the event organized on November 19, 2011, Miss UK Nepal 2011 was crowned. Gaumaya Gurung won the crown with Pragya Shrestha as first runner-up and Neelam Gurung as second runner-up.

Ria Acharya is the winner of the first Miss Teen Green Nepal 2011. The beauty contest was organized in Pragya Bhawan, Kamaladi on January 14, 2011.

Winning among the 26 other contestants, Ria thinks her self confidence is the greatest asset. Interested in painting, Ria wants to work for the United nations. As a model Ria wants to create a good personality and she has grown the dedication towards her work.

The number 14 participant of Miss Nepal 2011 is Rajita Khadka.

The 21 year old beauty, Rajita Khadka, lives in Budhanilkantha, Kathmandu. Rajita is 5 feet and 5.5 inches tall and is studying in BBS third year.

Like other participants Rajita also wanted to participate in Miss Nepal for the long time. Rajita says she is optimistic and is interested to make a career in modeling.
